Where all the money is going..

But at what point will we need to stop building houses, we already farm 70% of the UK which can only produce 60% of our food. More houses will mean more people, more flooding, moor food needed, more energy requirement, more jobs needed.

We can never stop because there will always be renewal and replacement required. But if you got to a point where obvious over-supply was developing you would have to tone things down a bit.

This is a intersting clip.

The cost of housing in Britain has led to millions of young people priced-out of buying a home of their own with millions more hoping prices remain high to prevent a slide into negative equity.

There isn't a political party with the will to solve the problem, the housing problem affects the minority for now so they don't matter that much when it comes to attracting votes.

And none of them will say the unsayable and admit that high immigration has caused many problems including housing. Cowardice in the face of political correctness, they're all scared stiff of being labelled racist by the left, meanwhile the country goes from bad to worse.

The thing is that prominent business organisations like the CBI and the Institute of Directors actually are heavily in favour of increased immigation. Those organisations influence the Tory party quite heavily. Boris Johnson is pro-immigration too. The likes of Vince Cable have similar views.

I predict not much will change. In fact next year could see the coalition in severe trouble if Bulgarians and Romanians arrive in substantial numbers.

Big business wanting a never ending supply of cheap labour, who'd have thought.

And all three main parties desperate to be in the pocket of big business. You can rant on about immigration but whatever party gets in you will get more of the same.

They are also unlikely to to do anything that will mean lower house prices because many of them are property investors; we are heading back to the days of the many renting off the few, something Thatcher tried to abolish.

Can't say I disagree with you, only UKIP have the appetite to bring about real change, because nothing will change whilst we're ever in the EU.
