old_queen
Yes, makeover nearly done, it looks really great and I think it is decent in relation to oldest domestic building in Sheffield. In next couple of weeks: - lunch menu (2 for £6) - new tasty 3 course menu - special menus for some nights (czech food, pies, fish dishes etc.) - good selection of real ales (5 hand pumps) and premium lagers (Warstainer, Pilsner Urquell and Peroni) - live music nights - darts tournaments - and a lot of more I will inform about this all soon on Going out section of this forum. old_queen
If we could afford put lower prices, believe me, we will do it. But it is problem all wet tied pubs, we have to buy product for higher prices then on open market... But even that, I think prices are reasonable for this kind of history pub and quality of beer which we are serving... Btw. spirits where we have got competitive buying prices, we offer right now double whiskey (Jameson, JD or Bells) for £3.95 with mixers or double vodka with mixer for £3.25 etc.
