BABARA NICE

After an amazing Sheffield Comedy Festival show in 2012 Mrs Nice returns to the Greystones. Do not miss this show.

Barbara Nice - International fun smuggler and mother dealing in the naturally occurring comedic highs of daily life. A supremely funny character comedian who tours the country on behalf of the opinionated suburban housewives of Stockport.

Barbara invites you to forget your troubles, be happy and join everyone’s favourite housewife in celebrating the here and now and making our own fun in austerity Britain . Starring Phoenix Nights' Janice Connolly.

Mrs Barbara Nice is the comedy creation of Janice Connolly. Barbara is your average Stockport housewife who given up the domestic bliss of Tupperware and Poundstretcher shops for the unpredictabilty of the comedy world. No audience is too rowdy for her to handle - she's already raised five teenagers. With the affectionate attitude of a playgoup leader at a wild Iggy Pop concert, Barbara is guaranteed to warm the heart of any audience.

Having recently supported both, Johnny Vegas and Peter Kay, Barbara is now a circuit headline act in her own right, as well as being one of the most experienced comperes in the country. She has also performed solo shows in Edinburgh (Stand and Guilded Balloon), Brighton (Komedia and Pavilion Theatre) and Manchester(The Lowry)
