I have a neutral colour scheme of light cream walls, light brown carpets and black and brown furniture. I have a few of those bright zingy canvas pictures dotted around which feature luminous yellow, blue, lime, purple and pink colours. I am looking at getting a rug for the middle with a complementary light shade and bright cushions with a bright retro look.
