horribleblob Posted February 22, 2013 Share Posted February 22, 2013 I'll always remember him for that highbrow drama about neighbourhood conflict called Rhubarb and Custard. News today that Bob Godfrey (animator of said "Roobarb") has died at age 91. I liked the way his cartoons vibrated. Although I never got the charm of "The Good Life", I did appreciate Briers' versatility and talent, particularly in something like the radio play "Hancock's Last Half Hour", which I heard (repeated) on BBC4 Extra a couple of weeks back.
