pegg Posted February 23, 2013 Share Posted February 23, 2013 The Sheffield Judo Club are now running 2 adult sessions each week . Wednesday night randori and technical session with a rota of coaches 8.30 till 10.00 and Friday nights is a full on groudwork technical and randori session with coach Lawrence Pritchard . Sessions are still only £3.00 and are open to everybody including new starters who will be made very welcome. Also our Junior club Steel city judo are still running the Monday night sessions for 5 to 8 year olds 6pm till 7pm and 8 years upwards from 7pm till 8pm . Prices are £3.00 per session , new starters welcome just turn up with some jogging bottoms and a loose top and have a go. ---------- Post added 24-02-2013 at 23:35 ---------- Steel city judo also run a session for 5 to 12 year olds at wisewood sports centre on wednesday 5.15 till 6.15 .The coach for this session is Laurence Pritchard who is a 3rd dan and also a full time judo coach teaching in schools in and around sheffield. Lawrence is full time Judo coach, coaching 5 days a week, with extensive grappling skills ..... I also train at EKBJJ Barnsley ...... the two sessions are very similar, and both HIGHLY recommended .... we get a number of Judo/BJJ players down on Friday night..... a very friendly yet competitive atmosphere ...... all welcome at a BARGAIN price of £3 PAYG.....
