Starquake
Old Horns at Bradfield is reasonable, also isn't quite a carvery or necessarily a roast but Wig & Pen is good for Sunday lunches too.
1000oceans
I can also recommend the Broadfield on Abbeydale Rd. Lovely reasonably priced food and good service. Bishops House Bistro at Norton Lees is also a fantastic Sunday lunch.
neeeeeeeeeek
taybarns barsley If you don't work there you really should get out more! ---------- Post added 09-03-2013 at 18:54 ---------- The York, same group as the Broadfield. Lescar is supposed to be good. Harlequin, cheap and chearful. If you don't mind driving, the Barrel at Bretton is amazing.
willj87
Tried Fitzwilliam & West (formerly Bar 23) today. It needs and deserves a mention; hands down the best Sunday roast I've had in years! Amazing (and huge) Yorkshires. You'll not be hungry afterwards!! Highly recommend this place.
Claret
Tried Fitzwilliam & West (formerly Bar 23) today. It needs and deserves a mention; hands down the best Sunday roast I've had in years! Amazing (and huge) Yorkshires. You'll not be hungry afterwards!! Highly recommend this place. I must also give F&W some praise here... for both the roasts and the dessert and drink combos (esp the brownie and ron zacapa pairing). I also recommend this place! keeley234
I'm slightly biased but you really should try The Golden Lion, Alderson Rd, S2 4UB. It's in a very central location close to Bramall lane, free parking on the surrounding streets on Sundays and serves a delicious, fresh, homemade Sunday Dinner for £5.95. Kids portions are also available with a FREE Ice cream.
