Finally voters show their disgust at the major parties, giving the conservatives a good beating and running the Lib dems pretty close, it seems the electorate may finally be waking up and saying "enough is enough" it seems only UKIP has the balls to say what the majority of people in this country think.

 

Not really "disgust" when the Lib Dems retained their seat though is it, just like we predicted. They're one of the "big three", along with the Tories, who still came third.

 

The UKIP vote is a protest vote against the Tories, but all UKIP is doing is pandering to the older Tories and their xenophobic (and recently shown homophobic) views. My local Conservative club has a "no women" room. What does that tell you?

 

The big question is should the Tories listen to the protest and pander to these voters, or stick to their guns and try and encourage more younger voters?

Why did you mention the murder rate?It seems a bit desperate almost signifying a lack of alternative points.Why not accept that migration can benefit economies.and then perhaps you will sleep better at night rather than worrying about nothing?

 

So why do you assume that the murder rate isn't down to immigration but the economy is? Norway & Switzerland have a far higher per capita income than the USA without massive amounts of immigration or murders. South & Central America on the other hand have massive amounts of immigration, very high murder rates and by and large pretty rubbish economies.

Switzerland's 3 languages points to its position between 3 countries. The UK had many languages before immigration kicked in.

Isn't the USA's wealth down to a vast country who's new population exploited the countries mineral and oil wealth.

You seem to have an ability to select random points and ignore everything that doesn't fit into you neat little perception of the world. That is pretty much what the main stream parties try to preach, and is a message that many have realised doesn't actually stack up.

 

Immigration induces murder due to tension between the ethnic groups. You only have to look to the middle east to see how anyone who doesn't conform to the correct brand of Islam becomes a target for the extremists.

This has always been my thought on the doctors and nurses in particular coming here. Their own countries have (presumably) borne the cost of training them, only to see them decamp to other parts once trained. Leaving their home country with a possible shortage of trained staff.

Something wrong there, when we are quite capable of producing our own.
