56cheffy
I have an aquatronic 2 shower. I removed it from the wall to tile. When I reconnected it and turned the isolator switch/valve back on the water flows despite the shower dials both being in the OFF position! Is this a problem that can be repaired with a new part or is a new shower required?
yellowperil
It sounds like a solenoid passing. Could be a bit of scale in it. Was it powered up when you put the water on? And if you switch the power on does it still warm up? Thanks.
56cheffy
Yes it was powered up and the water does get hot. When I put the front back on the dials were misaligned, (no idea how or why cos I didn't mess with them) I tried to line them up but couldn't seem to get them in the right place initially, eventually I think I have them in the right place, but I guess they are still slightly out! Could that be the problem
carosio
I was just going to suggest that the dials were mis-aligned - if you re-fit the cover again, use some cellotape to hold the dials in the correct position, some do tend to rotate a bit when lifted from the spindle.
