Total Chaos
Some people use the chance to pamper themselves....paint their nails, or treat themselves to a facial for example.... what happens if you dont have a male partner to give you one? Olive
Not exactly boring (Sundays), but there's always that "Sunday feeling" that sets in after about 4pm. Can't ever seem to shake it. Somewhere in the back of my mind there's that nagging feeling that there's some homework that still needs doing. And I left school over 20 years ago........PTSD I reckon. cressida
If I ever said I was bored when I was a child my mother would say 'I'll soon find you something to do', we learned to keep quiet:D

Gleadly
Why are Sun evenings boring ? Join one of the walking parties for a day on Sunday. You'll then be too tired to get bored in the evening. Find a good book to read. I've got zillions you can borrow. There's far more to life than watching the TV!
jfish1936
I have recently read a book by Kerry Greenwood: (may be misquoting, my memory ain't perfect) "This job is so stressful!" "Why did you take it?" "It sounded exciting, and I was bored. I remember being bored. I didn't know how lucky I was" from "Murder in the Dark"
poppet2
I think back to Sundays when the shops were closed all day. No traffic on the road, family time together and out walking or playing with the kids. Oh happy days. I I hate the fact that shops are open on Sunday, it has contributed to destroying family life in favour of consumerism 24/7. People need a break and families need time to do things together.
