Is imagination more important than Knowledge?

Recommended Posts

Yes imagination is more important than knowledge because knowledge comes from imagination....is this an Einstein quote??...sure he said it

If he said it, then he was wrong.

Knowledge comes from studying, investigation and experimentation.

Imagination might be key to designing experiments and choosing to investigate, but on it's own it doesn't generate anything.

To answer the OP, I think they are equally important in general terms, but both have more or less importance given specific situations.

A very fair summary of an earlier observation.
