Happ Hazzard
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-21654536 How can we improve our performance? Why won't people stop drinking, smoking and eating unhealthy foods? Not to mention driving everywhere instead of walking, running or cycling. Mecky
Listened in the radio and looked it up on the net. It appears to be another attempt to vilify drinkers and provoke public opinion into accepting the privatisation of the NHS.
TJC1
Well, 12th isnt that bad. We beat Denmark, Finland and a few other countries. It's just another attempt to stir up a probem that isnt as bad as they make out. ---------- Post added 05-03-2013 at 13:05 ---------- Listened in the radio and looked it up on the net. TJC1
But what sort of quality of life will that extra 4 years bring? Plus, it's another few years the country has to provide for! ---------- Post added 05-03-2013 at 14:25 ---------- They used 19 developed countries. When you take the issue on a world scale, many more countries have worse health issues than we do. I'd rather be in the Uk than India that's for sure. Happ Hazzard
We should aim for the top of the table. Man Utd wouldn't settle for 12th, neither should the UK as a country.

Happ Hazzard
I'm quite healthy, I don't drink alcohol, smoke, eat fairly healthily and go cycling a couple of times a week. It's all the unhealthy people who are letting the country down.
