It's definately not there now mate, drove past twice and parked up, hair salon called Oscars (I think) seems to be in that premises.
Longcol
Hayman's on Crookes / School Road junction do a very good one - big chunks of melt in your mouth pork, trimmings and drop dead gorgeous crackling.
Boothybabe
Beres, end of thread! Beres used to be good but now they are tiny and dry, they are still cashing in on their old image.

NightFlight
Not been tehre in many years but in my student days there was a little sandwich shop by SHU city ampu, alfie and bellas I think? Used to do a great pork sarnie, on ciabatta, with stuffing, sauce AND gravy. Does anywhere else in Sheffield do gravy with their sandwiches? D.O.N.E
Good news. Went past Kempkas this morning. There was a note pinned to the door. Will reopen 14th March. Phewww. Note to self. Support local shops or lose them.

Hope they don't ruin the ambience of the place! 14th of March for dried weird looking bit of pig? Can't wait!
