Halibut
Should everyone with a cold follow that advice? Obviously not. Strange question.
Anna B
For the last two weeks I've had a really bad cold, although I still feel really rubbish, for the last few days I've felt like crying for no reason. Has anyone else ever felt like this. Yes. Could be S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) Can I suggest you try and get more daylight, and maybe take vitamin D supplements, (there's also a special lamp you can get in serious cases.) Even if it's not this, a decent multi-vitamin wouldn't go amiss, and try and get a good walk in every day. Hope you're feeling better soon. sheffandy
Should everyone with a cold follow that advice? 6lb of unexplained weight loss is a lot of weight to lose quickly in a healthy person...so yes they should see a GP quickly..Good to see a Mod paying attention...not ... Hots on
I'm just starting to feel better after nearly three weeks of feeling really terrible; my body was aching all over, fever, coughing etc, and in the latter stages I had a bad headache, diarrhea, and muffled hearing with a sensation that my ear canals were full of gunk!! but apparently they were not. I went to the doctors twice and they could do nothing for me, they just told me to grin and bare it and sweat it out. Antibiotics would have cleared it up straight away. Not if it was a virus, they wouldn't. Antibiotics are there to treat bacterial infections.
