Digitalis
The Monte Carlo is a nice car. I had a customer come out of a polo 1.2tdi CR because of very low mileage and recurring dpf issues and go into a polo 1.2 tsi. Not sure on exact Mpg figures but they are very happy with the car

Steptoad
I had a Fabia, just got rid of it. I had nothing, but problems with it.
Janus
A lot of the private hire (taxis) drivers use Skoda Octavias. They seem to be as popular & reliable as the Toyota Avensis has been for these guys.
AngryDog
I had an octavia vrs for a while. Cracking car
simonj
I've had a 60 plate Golf 2.0 TDI from new however on a couple of occasions I've been given hire cars whilst it's had some work done, both Skodas. Although the interiors are remarkably similar to VW's they do look a bit more 'plasticky'. That's about it though, the cars drove fine
big_g
I had a Fabia, just got rid of it. I had nothing, but problems with it. What were the problems? What engine and how old? I'm looking at a Skoda for my next car. Looking at the newer 140 PS 1.4 petrol engine in an Octavia.
