pockets1985 Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 Does anyone have any idea about oil leaks ?? got a mk4 astra 1.8sxi started leakin oil as fast as u poor it in to be honist bought it about. A week ago and was fine went out init today and its used 2lt of oil as had to drive to sheffield . ive sealed all sump an everythin i could see under car with gasket sealent and still leaking like mad ?? WallBuilder Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 First find where the oil is coming from, try standing the car somewhere flat and level then run the engine and put a few pieces of card on the ground under the engine so you can narrow down the position of the leakage.
