Plain Talker
...and where Fizz would obviously send Tyrone a birthday card whilst he's living with the monster of Kirsty... As I have said before, about daft plot-lines:- if Fiz's character hadn't sent Ty's character a birthday card, it would have made for a very short episode... Yes but it may be better suited to childrens hour... Saying that,I'm still sad enough to watch it.

Hmm, I don't know that the domestic violence that Kirsty's character is inflicting on Tyrone is safe viewing for kiddies... unless you mean this:- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Children%27s_Hour_%28film%29 - which is also quite a stark story. Mister M
No one in soap operas watch soap operas. I think it was Hollyoaks that was mentioned in Brookside, to give it more realism - recognising that people do talk about soap operas. Unfortunately Hollyoaks turned out to be crap, and Brookside got stupid in the end.

Leah-Lacie
Why is Jason so bothered about his old clapped out E reg escort van getting burnt out? He could buy another for £150! And why did Carl say its going to cost £100 to repair the wing mirror on his clapped out Astra car? Mind boggling stuff!
