...and where Fizz would obviously send Tyrone a birthday card whilst he's living with the monster of Kirsty...

 

As I have said before, about daft plot-lines:- if Fiz's character hadn't sent Ty's character a birthday card, it would have made for a very short episode...

Yes but it may be better suited to childrens hour...

Hmm, I don't know that the domestic violence that Kirsty's character is inflicting on Tyrone is safe viewing for kiddies...

No I was meaning some of the acting and (other) storylines.

Steve Macdonald & Dennis Tanners lollipop story comes to mind.

No one in soap operas watch soap operas.

 

I think it was Hollyoaks that was mentioned in Brookside, to give it more realism - recognising that people do talk about soap operas. Unfortunately Hollyoaks turned out to be crap, and Brookside got stupid in the end.
