I won't be going anywhere to do any jigging this year,but i hope those of you who are enjoy ye selves,

A guinness at the local will be my tipple and a little tot of something at home to toast the memory of a dear Irish grandfather.

St Paddys day is for the Mick's, nowt to do with us English

 

I feel the same, I dont see the fasination with it; why none Irish peoople celebrate it is beyond me.

 

So you're assuming everyone on this forum is English.

It is because people look for an excuse to "party".They do not seem capable of independent thoughts so have to be nudged into action.

Exactly, no objection to the Irish doing it, it is their day; but others its just a lame excuse to get elephants.
