facilities Posted March 22, 2013 Share Posted March 22, 2013 Active8 Sheffield are hosting their Men's 11-a-side Football Tournament for the 2nd year in the Summer of 2013! The tournament/league is for FA registered clubs across South Yorkshire - be it from Saturday Leagues, Sunday Leagues or any other leagues, everyone is welcome! Games will be played during the week from 6pm onwards. Each team will play one fixture per week so worrying about arranging pre-season fixtures is a thing of the past! Officials, floodlit 3G pitches, corner flags and all other equipment will be provided. Just bring your team, your kit and your tekkers and let the best team win! Teams will play 1 fixture per week over a period of roughly 8 weeks (dependant on uptake). Fixtures will take place on weekday evenings from 6pm onwards. The section will run concurrently with the main adult league and follow the same format. Team will play all other teams in a league format before proceeding to the knock-out phases. The event will take place on our floodlit 3G Astroturfs at Tapton and King Edwards Community Sports Centres during weekday evenings and occasional weekends.
