Cycleracer
Although I have seen this sign before at Dam flask I was wondering how bad it really is...The sign clearly says the Algae is dangerous to humans and yet there are fishermen and sailors on this water which makes me wonder if its really safe. The blue and green algae apparently builds on the waters edge and is gives off dangerous spurrs which can be lethal to humans. The water according to this sign is not used for human consumption which makes me wonder what Dam Flask's reason for being there questionable. I've not come across this anywhere else and wonder if its unique to there.

Dannyno
There are different types of reservoir. Damflask was built as a "compensation reservoir", which are designed to maintain water levels - in this case in the River Loxley, which had a lot of industrial users.
