Does anyone have any information from 1930 concerning a family called BREARLEY, specifically A.W. Brearley, who were possibly butchers with a shop at 98 Bramhall Lane? Home address Brincliffe House Ecclesall.

There's this entry courtesy of Sheffield Indexers:

BREARLEY, William Haydn (~, Butcher).

Residing at 114 Duke Street, Park; h. 89 Hunter House Road, ~ in 1925.

Recorded in: Sheffield & Rotherham Kelly’s Directory.

Many thanks. Confirmed what I was searching for. Regards. Chris

That's OK. Obviously this is for the 1925 Directory but, possibly the same family.

On the same site there are 4 burials (Arthur, Beatrice, Elizabeth and Harry) in a grave owned by A W Brearley, don't know if it's the same family as the one which you're researching. The dates range from 1899-1951.

Regards,

Duffems
