It's a bit of a walk or a short taxi ride to the top of broad street and you should be able to get a room for about £40. If you want something nicer, try jury's inn on broad street, or the crowne plaza at the bottom of broad street. You can probably get a weekend rate for about £80... In fact, i'll check. Or maybe a holiday Inn Yes, this is fairly central, but it can be noisey (traffic wise) have a look along Broad street, loads going on there or out towards the five ways at Edgbaston.
