berlingo
put passport details in for a flight to Lanzarote in 2 weeks time and noticed that one of the passports expires in June. When booking the travel agents always say 6 months need to be remaining but I'm sure this doesn't apply to the EU? I'm sure I once traveled to Spain with only a week remaining. Checked website and I think we are ok. Has anyone else experienced this?
Mr Bloom
No, if you're an EU citizen with an EU passport and the stay is for less than 90 days, it only has to be valid for the duration of your stay. ---------- Post added 25-03-2013 at 08:57 ---------- Here you go http://www.fco.gov.uk/en/travel-and-living-abroad/travel-advice-by-country/europe/spain#entryRequirements

berlingo
I had already read that and assumed it was ok, just wondered if "airlines & travel agents" made their own rules or if I was reading it wrong

Thomson state on their booking conditions that your passport must be valid for 6 months from the date of your return to the UK. just checked brochure and it is the current copy. irenewilde
put passport details in for a flight to Lanzarote in 2 weeks time For goodness sake, don't give us any clues as to where you live. We'll all be round there trying to fit ourselves into your suitcase to get away from this weather......
