geared
How's the fuse box got wet? If you've got a leak you must repair that before replacing the electrics, otherwise the problem will just come back.
liam7200
hi mate the leak is the access hatch under the arch... a garage replaced the light and forgot to put the arch back so water has got in through that!! this has now been resolved but the damage has already been done.. but thank you for your advise

The price from JS Services seems reasonable. I thought these units were a lot dearer, 300 to 400 quid, having said that i only repair and do not supply new, (imme not saying i could have repaired this one or not as, like i told you i havent seen this type before). Also sometimes these units are filled with hard a bitumin type substance wich do make them difficult to gain access to the circuitry, therfore rendering them uneconomical to repair anyway? Until i see one i dont know Just to add. I am not a garage i work from a rented unit repairing car electronic related equipment brought to me by auto electricians/garages that have allready diagnosed that the part wich they bring is faulty. I could accept a car occasionaly, but premises do not allow for overnight stay of vehicle, (insurance reasons). If its a Radio Decode/Repair / keyfob repair / Ford or Scenic dash repair / Renault window module repair, ect, ect, ect, these i dont need the car just the unit. That was not intended as an advert, it was to clarify what i do and do not do to help forum users whether to ask. (ps i do more) Best regards Glynn Ps I know JS Services and i would reccomend also. Solihull Boy
I had a couple of Renault Masters a few years ago, and Sam at J S Services looked after them. I would definitely recommend them, great service with nothing being too much trouble and reasonable prices charged too
