chidorii
Agree with R8mnw, the tinsley canal is full of pike! Spinning, in my opinion, is very hit and miss. Some days it catches good.... others, you can send it out 200 times in 20 places using 5 different lures and get nothing! While we on the subject, in my experience spinning doesn't cut the mustard for anything other than jack pike, can someone confirm spinning can grab the attention of a large pike? I spose my spinners are pretty small tbh 2inch max.
Adamc96
I've been down the canal a few times recently and not had I single hit, what type of lures seem to be doing well? Any ideas guys?
MrSkinner
A deep diving Rapala one worked for me last week From what I've read up on, the majority of the fish will still be in the deepest water possible due to the cold temperature as this is where heat is retained best. Makes some sort of sense in my head anyway!
