JACK HEWITT Posted March 30, 2013 Share Posted March 30, 2013 I did I started in 1966 finished 1990 early retirement worked for the engineers started as a labourer "tarmacing" then mated a paviour then on to driving plant rollers jcb skips etc then on to the wagons you name it I drove it I also did a few years on the sewers based at Northfield rd and at Olive Grove depots also I was moved to the SWD Manor Ln for the period in time due to government change I have very fond memories of the characters that I worked with HAPPY DAYS.
