Why the Media blackout?

Recommended Posts

Looks like the usual suspects at those protests ........ Lefty militants ,students, Uk Uncut, Occupy and a few professional agitators thrown in to cause trouble .

These people would protest at the closing of a door.

And just like the last time you made a similar comment I will point out that it is about as relevant as saying looks like the usual suspects not at those protests ........ nazis ,the Bullingdon Club, Combat 18, the The Buckingham Conservative Association and a few professional landlords thrown in to cause trouble .

You cannot possibly know how the protest crowds were made up demographically speaking unless you attended them all and conducted a comprehensive survey.

for a starter then.

the catch all broad basis of the human rights laws

laws on eu migrants free movement and the claims of welfare and benefits here and in the home country.ir

the membership laws which state how much we must contribute which is grossly disproportionate to what we actually get out.

barmy health and safety rulings

working time directives and employment laws.

thats enough to get us started, these rulings and laws are stifling the re growth of the uk.

Barmy health and safety rulings ??? I think these are designed to keep us alive and healthy. [building sites are now far safer instead of being death traps].

Working time directives and employment laws ??? Don't these stop companys from imposing 14 hour shifts and paying pittance wages ??

They also provided a little job security [Gradually being eroded away by the Torys]

Without Europe the British employee will be in a sorry state. Just ask anyone currently working for one of the agencies. The Best Connection [agency] is a poor example of an employer. [And used by British Blue Chip Companys]

Its the ultra right wing Torys, Cameron, Clegg,IDS and Co who need stifling.

If slavery and poverty becomes the norm, who cares about growth ???

Watching the news last night, it was listing all the cuts that were coming in on April 1st.

A lot more than just the bedroom tax and having to pay towards council tax, including less money for legal aid etc. All of which will impact more on the poor. It then added that corportion tax was being reduced and top rate of tax was coming down.

These handouts weren't mentioned on the BBC.

Strange that this jarring contrast in treatment for rich (handouts) and poor (penalised) wasn't highlighted on the BBC.

Corporation tax cuts can allow companies to thrive and take on more staff..it can also encourage companies to set up here rather than abroad..

I'd go further still and make the first 20k corporation tax free for small companies - mind you if they did, corporation tax would drop through the floor, let's face it the big boys won't pay.

We all know how biased towards the rich the Torys are, BUT I worry about Ed Milliband............he's about as effective in opposition as a damp squib. There's more energy in a Junior aspirin. Ol' Puncher Prescott would be more effective.

Have we nobody with any bottle ???????????

Labour should be laying into the media, even putting out their own statements, not just sucking their thumbs.

For all its desire to be well meaning, speaking out for voices that aren't always heard, when push comes to shove the BBC will always be a mouthpiece for the establishment.
