No because the poor would be happy to become rich, but the rich clergy wouldn't be happy giving all their wealth to the poor, they want someone else to make the poor, less poor. You're only giving another reason why they should be kicked out of British politics. Their loyalties are to their global church, not British democracy and the British people.
