Anyone remember these bands that gigged a lot in Sheff in the early-mid 80's?

They gigged (& partied) a lot with a band I was in called Maison Rouge

Was sorry to hear today that singer Tom died a couple of days ago

A real nice bloke and a right laugh

Hiya Phil, it is such bad news when the people we used to knock about with sadly pass on.

I've not seen Tom for umpteen years, but have many fond memories of him and his unique outlook on life.

Have you any idea of the arrangements, or a contact number for anyone that might be going to the funeral?

Hello Sharper

99% certain service is next thurs 10:15 at Grenoside. Apparently there's a notice in the Sheffield Start tonight

I'll be there, as well as Mr Willis, the Wilkes bros & hopefully a few more

This Durango 95 was more rock with a punk edge

If yours is a dance track it might be this

http://www.dancerecords.com/artists/Durango+95

There were other D95s & the Ramones did a track by that name

For anyone who needs to know, Big Tommy's service is listed in The Star as:

10:15 am Thurs 9th Feb @ Grenoside North Chapel

Family flowers only donations to Neurocare, Royal Hallamshire Hospital

I remember Durango 95.. lol I was in them :-) so nice to see this - remember FCS, Boy On A Dolphin, Dead By Friday, Cosa Nostra, Plague Dogs - loved those people so much.. Sheffield, best days of my life...High lght was defo Nik Turner joining us for Rob Calvert's Evil Rock!

I've mellowed a bit but am over here if anybody comes through: still write songs.. I can't put a link but google Lindsay Darcy - that's the old Durango Singer.

Best Wishes To All
