tarquine Posted April 1, 2013 Share Posted April 1, 2013 I have been offered a secondment to work at the BBC headquarters in Manchester for two years so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any areas of of the city. Friends have advised a couple of the boroughs of Manchester such as Bury, Salford, Trafford and the districts of Chorlton and Didsbury but wondering if anyone can offer their opinion or experience. All the Altrincham area is very nice with the Metro link to the city making it convenient to commute into Manchester. It's not cheap though.
