rossyrooney
That's piffle,i would be against it whatever party introduced it. Perhaps i should have been more clear on the elderly point,as you point out pensioners are exempt at present ... apologies.
alchresearch
Well they know the consequences now, and it has been on the cards for a while. Over ten years according to my calculations. In 2000 my own mum was pressured to move from a three bedroom house to a smaller one. She didn't mind because there were just two empty rooms doing nothing, and it was more expensive to rent, heat and insure, and personally knowing someone who had four kids who had to share undersized rooms, she was glad to be doing something to help others. MrSmith
Whereas churches telling lies about the sky fairy and how to get "salvation" is acceptable hmm? Indeed, I think the church is the last organisation that should talk about deceiving people.
MadManMoon
Do you have any better links than a blog and an e Petition? Mecky
Why can't some people just accept some MPs have been telling lies about the state of the economy and other things?
Oldtrout
Indeed, I think the church is the last organisation that should talk about deceiving people. Deception aside, I've got an idea! ... as the 'churches' in this country have so many assets, they could sell them to help the poor! Bit of land here, bit of gold there. Yes? In fact, if the Catholic church did the same ... WOW!

MrSmith
And when that is gone? The church along with it's parishioners can distribute their earning equally with the poor.
Vague_Boy
We've recently had two cases where our beloved Prime Minister told lies about the banking crisis. We now have Osborne telling lies about poverty. What is wrong with these people? Politicians telling lies. There's a first.
