MrSmith
We've recently had two cases where our beloved Prime Minister told lies about the banking crisis. We now have Osborne telling lies about poverty. What is wrong with these people? The population wants the truth, but then they rebel when they don't like the truth, Politicians wouldn’t get into office by telling the truth because people want to know how good things will be, not how bad they will be. Oldtrout
And when that is gone? If it was invested wisely, long term, for the good of 'the poor', it won't be gone. Actually, another thought, any rental income could be ploughed back into charities. Result ... churches keep their assets and benefit long term, the needy benefit short term! Yes? alchresearch
Have I supplied enough links or do you want more? http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2013/apr/02/ten-lies-told-about-welfare http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/33327 But they're not reports about the church "blasting Osborne". Once again, one is an e-petition, the other is by Ricky Tomlinson, that well known political heavyweight.
MadManMoon
They don't look like lies to me. Must be nice having the ability to believe only want you want to believe despite all evidence to the contrary. Ozzy would be proud.
