vwkittie Posted April 5, 2013 Share Posted April 5, 2013 I think because they're through flattish skin they're subject to more stress and movement that other types of piercings, and I guess depending on where it was maybe prone to getting caught too. I don't really know the closest thing I've got is three navel piercings, which people warned me might grow out but I've had them 8 years and no sign of movement at all.
