kamasiad
Does anybody have any factual knowledge of a murder which concluded with a woman's body being left in a gennel between Norton Lees Lane and Chessel Close S8? My Mother and many other people seem to be aware of the above, but the consensus disappears after that.It could be in the 1940's, 50's or 60's. There is very little further info on the interweb. If possible I am after documentary evidence, not what people think they remember. Thank You
TeddyTwoHead
Yes, George Trevor was sentenced to death on 14 March 1947 for killing a barmaid called Mary Pemberton. He went to Armley jail but wasn't hung. They gave him life instead. The victim had been in court the year before for trying to kill her child. Sad times, man. See, all you got to do is ask Teddy
