Crackers
Jive Juice Ape-ril charity fundraiser Saturday 13 April 8pm - late DAda Bar (ex Trippets), 89 Trippet Lane, Sheffield Free entry DJs for the night: Powlo (Thirsty Ear/Jive Juice) Amy Le Crunch (Jive Juice) Ian Cracknell (Jive Juice) Come go ape with us at our little dance at Dada to real r&b, soul, ska, mambo and more - all on 100% good old crackly vinyl. It's a doubly special party this month - not only is it our Flamin' Amy Le Crunch's birthday bash (woo hoo, bring on the rum!) - but we're also putting on a little fundraiser for Ape-ril, the Sumatran Orangutan Society's campaign to raise money and awareness for the protection of orangutans - the King of the Swingers, no less - and their rainforest home. Your DJs for the night are: Powlo (Thirsty Ear), Flamin' Amy Le Crunch and Ian 'Jive Juice' Cracknell. It's free to get in - and we're donating 50% of our own proceeds to Ape-ril too - so please dig deep and spare us a few quid on the night, or follow the links to see what else you could do to support the cause and help our hairy friends.
