Hillpig
This lady has been found guilty of attempting to import 4.5 kilos of cocaine into Bali. At her appeal it has been confirmed that she will be executed by firing squad. Is this an example of how the UK should be dealing with serious offenders? Yeah, that makes sense, because thanks to their draconian laws Bali is practically drug free these days....

There is not point debating it as it won't ever happen (executions back in the UK). On the topic of her getting the firing squad, i don't care, she knew what she was doing and knew the possible outcome. It's not nice for her family and im sure it will be heartbreaking but she get's what she deserves. How many lives will 4.5 kilos of cocaine take and how many family will it destroy ? But its not like she killed anyone. Even then, I dont believe in capital punishment.
Supertramp
Why don't you take 4.5 kilo and see what happenes ? I don't think she was going to sell all 4.5k to one end user. Also around 100 lives were lost due to Cocaine use in the UK in 2011, compared to around 8500 alcohol related.
