DUFFEMS
My uncle was a rep for Burdalls in the late 50's early 60's, his company vehicle was an A35 van which was loaded with samples, mainly Burdalls gravy salt/gravy browning etc. What I was always fascinated by was that he carried other samples too, goods which local shops had such as sticking plasters in packets on cards, medications too, presumably Burdalls did these lines for local shops. My uncle was a very fast and erratic driver and consequently all the samples finished up on the front seat when he had to brake hard, it was like something in a comedy sketch. mosccat
Hi I went to Kelam museum last week and looked at some information they have relating to Burdalls. I found a sheet showing the Burdall's team of representatives with passport sized photos.
