WeX
It seems that the good ol'British roads are more full of potholes than many of our counterparts, so much so Honda is having to build a special test track to simulate our roads on their new cars. http://metro.co.uk/2013/04/10/britains-roads-copied-by-japanese-car-engineers-to-test-drive-vehicles-3589816/ So to those who have been saying our roads are not falling apart, there is proof that not only it is the case, but our roads are built to a lower standard than other countries. So you completely ignored this line in the report: "Rough does not mean badly maintained or pot-holes. It means the different material." The materials used are more porous than the euro counter-part and they're will be reasons for that. I'm not privy to those reasons but a reasonable assumption would be drainage. alchresearch
Maybe there's a link to our roads and the recent airbag recall? Didn't Clarkson's go off on a bad road on that Top Gear special the other week? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/transport/9986175/Toyota-Honda-Nissan-and-Mazda-recall-3.4m-cars-over-possible-faulty-airbag.html
