NorthernStar
I think the most extreme right was Hitler? Not sure people writing on the internet or a couple of hundred silly individuals dancing in the street equates quite to what he did - and could never really be seen as worse surely....... The extreme right is currently the BNP and EDL according to most lefties on here, don't be so pedantic, I'm sure you actually knew which context that was posted in, nobody mentioned 'the most extreme right' as you put it ! I was always under the impression that the BNP and Hitlers Nazis were socialist nationalists, kind of both 'the left' and 'the right' (the worst of both worlds IMO). Always seems very polarising to think of politics as one or the other, when it's all shades of grey.
Chris_Sleeps
Hitlers Nazis were socialist nationalists, kind of both 'the left' and 'the right' (the worst of both worlds IMO). Hitler didn't form or name the Nazi party, and later he greatly disliked how the word socialism fitted into his party's name. The Nazi party were built on anti-communist beliefs and the racial superiority of Germanic people. There was nothing of "the left" (how I hate the dichotomy) about them. Mr Bloom
So, Ding Dong reaches no 2. The BBC refuse to play the full song, playing a brief 5 seconds clip BUT play the whole of the track 'I'm in love with Margaret Thatcher' by the Notsensibles, that only made it to no 35. Is the BBC deliberately trying to fan the flames?
