Blue Bell Pub at S12

it seens like pub closes every other day in sheffield, it either reopens with a new landlord in place, or they all change into indian resturants, or corner shops eveven tesco mini marts o or sainsburys, even little asda's, this has never been seen in sheffield before, and it's the saome in many city's, towns, villages all around the country, where does a fella go to meet his mates on sunday dinner and to get away from the wife and kids for a couple of hours, or a desent pint, to talik about football how united thrashed the are of wednesday back to tescos to pick up a box of lager

Its a huge shame and sunday afternoons in the blue bell were very good right up until it finally closed but pubs cant survive on sundays alone. The guy across the road that used to complain actually used to go in playing snooker !!

The blue bell was closed due to numerous complaints, a lot of from an old bloke directly across the road.

For example, he would ring the police about the noise the dj was making...police would turn up to find the dj had only just unloaded and hadnt even setup...

 

Yes I remember this bloke, bell had to move all the seating on side of pub, to back, because of him, well hope he will be happier now, with more noise from gangs hanging around, and more rubbish.

 

Had some great times in Bell, although I personaly think it should have been an Indian resturant, area doesn't need another shop.
