Dancing123
Since I've been going through the menopause I have been getting ill very frequently - mainly catching a cold every few weeks. I can't find any information or help on-line about this as it falls outside of the usual menopausal symptoms, and the GP can't help. Has anyone out there gone through this, and did you find something that helped?
MikeDaMouse
Our lasser's mum had a similar problem... It turned out that her iron was low, she is now on those Iron tablets that give her an extra boost. Since she has been on them she has been getting ill less and is back to normal. I obviously can not say that this will sort you out, or if this is even why you are gettin ill (as i am not a doctor) But it has sorted her out. Good luck with it and i hope that you get it sorted. Mr Bloom
A friend of ours takes a Multibionta Vitality every day, then a Jointcare tablet with calcium and vitamin D, and an iron tablet. She thinks they are having a positive effect.
dafodil
A large gin And tonic before lunch followed by one before dinner ,this can be supplemented by another at bedtime I find that this did wonders for my flushes and also helped in othe departments. Dancing123
Thanks for that. I've gone and bought an 'immune booster' now with those things in it (strangely not the gin, though!) plus some echanacea. Fingers crossed.
Mr Bloom
Hope you feel the benefits.
retired
Multi vitamins can help, zinc is important as well as Vit C and B.
medusa
I'd go with the gin
Dancing123
I might be taking up the gin option if the rest don't work(!) but for now will give the zinc etc a good go. Have added echanacea, too. Thanks for the hints and tips, guys. All appreciated.
