Is this vigilantism acceptable or should they leave it to the police to do the job?
Jason Bourne
Whilst I'm in favour of the death penalty for paedos... this does seem like entrapment.

cressida
Well, what do you think of the vigilantes? I think they should be monitored by the police, it may happen that if there are a lot of them chasing one paedo they could become aggressive and it could cause problems for the police I think any paedo would now avoid a post which began 'I am a 14 year old girl'
SevenRivers
Should leave it to the police, they have the training for this type of investigation.
NorthernStar
These guys aren't vigilantes in the pitchfork and torches sense, infact as I understand it they work with the police to capture these paedophiles and expose them as well as collect evidence to aid their convictions. I think their efforts are to be applauded, they already have 4 convictions to their name. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpR0a_wnYks
Super Hans
I can't see there being much point as the evidence collected by these people would, I assume be inadmissible in court.
melthebell
Should leave it to the police, they have the training for this type of investigation. i agree.........for once lol trouble is with vigelantes they dont work with facts, they dont have the same expertise, knowledge, training, access to departments and other erxperts they just use guesswork and in a lot of cases the wrong people can and DO get targetted
