Metal detectors

i am wanting to take this up as a hobby and would be gratefull as to what sort/brand detector to start with i have been told the garret ones are good but they are a bit pricey for me at the moment so anybody with any knowledge of this past time i would be gratefull for.any info

No metal left on it love. It rotted away years ago. All filler and newspapers :hihi::hihi:

Please be very careful,the first one i bought was very sophisticated and extremely powerful.

 

The first time i switched it on it ripped the metal bones out of my missuses corset,the aftermath was a huge shock and has left me with an inane fear of anything that wobbles.
