Trouble with a Picasso

hi can anyone help with 2 problems i have with my citreon picasso automatic the first is the headlighs come on while driving without being switch on secondly a dashboard light comes on it's shows an orange light which indicates theres a problem with the fuel system, and the brakes failed

You said two problems, then talked about 3 (2 electrical and the brakes failed)

 

Have you taken the car to have the fault codes read, that would give you a much better idea of what is up. Asking questions online will only ever get you vague 'could be' answers.

It's French, best help I can give you is il pik it up for scrap with the hiab tommorow. Problem sorted :)

 

Yeah, the French make rubbish cars ... Citroen especially, like the groundbreaking Citroen Traction Avant, Citroen DS, 2CV, (not forgetting their hydropneumatic suspension which is used by Rolls Royce). Bugatti was another rubbish French car manufacturer too. :)
