Yeah, the French make rubbish cars ... Citroen especially, like the groundbreaking Citroen Traction Avant, Citroen DS, 2CV, (not forgetting their hydropneumatic suspension which is used by Rolls Royce). Bugatti was another rubbish French car manufacturer too. :)

 

Exactly you wouldn't want any. Scrap it and but a landrover

Sorry AB!! Anybody in the trade know's that french cars from around 1999 onwards are totally crap. Take for example the super reliable nissan primera. The P10 and P11 versions - bomb proof. The later hook up with renault resulted in god awful primera's that traded on the jap name.

 

And broke down at any given opportunity knocks :)

Post 99 pretty much anything French is pretty pants, not that they were leading figures in reliability to start off with anyway.

At least they make the odd fun car, and the styling is usually pretty good (except Peugeot, which are all crap)

 

With no brakes ! :o

Agreed. I feel sorry for the owners getting ripped off every week :(
