mart
I don’t use buses often, and invariably when I am going to use the bus I get a day tripper ticket and make a day of it-bus, train or trams as much as I want. I got on a TM bus on Fri as a one-off and thought how helpful the info on the ticket could potentially be in the detection of a serious crime. Printed on the ticket is: Route , bus reg, Driver No, Machine No, Trip ID , Ticket No, where the ticket was issued & destination, and time & date of course. Also potentially useful for catching “cheaters” (that’s partners, not the big cats) Do first & stage coach print this info also? As an aside, is £1.50 expensive for a journey of 1 ¼ mile or is that the going rate?
