Cavegirl
Cavegirl ape/monkey species whatever WHY CANT WE EVEN SEE PARTIAL EVOLUTION IN TODAYS APE SPECIES also in regards to your surgeon question, see it as antique furniture made by master craftsman compared to the new MFI chipboard mass produced production line numbered garbage atheism = MFI abrahamic religions= antique Actually we see lots of evidence of ape evolution. They're forced to evolve as we destroy their habitats. Our closest matched genetic ape relation is the bonobo chimpanzee. Genetic evidence has shown that our evolutionary trees split only 8 million years ago (when we shared an ancestor)- probably due to climatic change forcing a change in environment around Olduvai Gorge - hominids adapted from life in the trees to open savannah, the other ape species didn't need to. The bonobo was recently discovered to be the only other species alive on the planet that will commit genocide on other ape/monkey species. Scientists have attributed this development to a reduction in their habitats causing extreme stress. Ape skeletal remains have altered just as ours have over time, further proof that they have evolved. Scientists also recently taught a gorilla to understand sign language. Yes the Abrahamic religions are antique, but time has passed and societies have evolved, perhaps it's time you caught up. Cavegirl
female mantis also commits genocide but that proves nothing If you choose to believe that you descend from apes than so be It, The female mantis is known as a sexual cannibal, this is very different to committing co-operative mass murder (ie not for food or survival purposes) with fellow female mantis'. Grahame
Possibly because we evolved from apes, not monkeys? I have to ask you a hypothetical question- if you had to have life-saving surgery would you prefer a prehistoric doctor with prehistoric tools or a modern day surgeon with a fully equipped surgery? Why would you accept the ideas of prehistoric people's on the creation of man over the evolutionary ideas of a brilliant modern day scientist? That is why God is the supreme master of biology. Cavegirl
They cannot evolve, that is why they become extinct. That's true- the rate at which we're destroying their habitat is far far faster than the rate of evolution. We see changes in behaviour, but unless we leave them alone for a few million years we're unlikely to see significant changes in their physiology. Cavegirl
The do-do extinct by 1681? The dodo became extinct because humans introduced dogs, cats and rats to Mauritius. Dogs, cats and rats were well adapted already to raiding nests. The dodo had never faced such predators before and therefore they did not protect their nests. It didn't take long for the species to be wiped out- they didn't have the time or numbers needed to adapt their behaviour in face of this new threat.
