Does God Exist?

Recommended Posts

Ha Ha!! OK, what ever! Just like every other god botherer, twisting other peoples words so they fit into your blinkerd religious views!

Things happen because chemicals react with each other, not because god makes them happen!

I'm still waiting for you to show me proof of god, but you can't can you?? Because there is no god!!

I wonder which chemical slaps the babies bottom? (work out what I mean)

Then what brought us here?

Nobody really knows do they??

The main reason behind my personal disbelief in religion is due to the fact that it is not progressive. Religious leaders want you to acknowledge that there is a god, donate your money & question nothing!

People used to think the Sun was a god & it was worshiped as a god for 1000's of years. Now we know it is a ball of gas, thanks to understanding science.

I would rather go about my life, asking questions & getting answers. Fair enough, I will never know the answers to all my questions, but I know that science offers more answers than the Bible, and that, you can't argue with!!

Ah, well, that proves wine exists because we are talking about it, not because I have drunk any. :)

Talking about something does not prove that it exists. It does however prove that it exists in the imagination.

You are right in all you say but there are a lot of people who don't fit into the category you have described. I do think it is good to ask questions and personally I find the answers guide me in the right direction. Finally the Bible isn't a science book, just as science books aren't about life or living it.

I have grass to cut. See ya.

I would like to talk about dragons & unicorns!

Unicorn existed and a dragon is a name for something else.

"Greek writers of natural history were convinced of the reality of the unicorn, which they located in India, a distant and fabulous realm for them. The earliest description is from Ctesias who described them as wild asses, fleet of foot, having a horn a cubit and a half in length and colored white, red and black.[5] Aristotle must be following Ctesias when he mentions two one-horned animals, the oryx (a kind of antelope) and the so-called "Indian ass".[6][7] Strabo says that in the Caucasus there were one-horned horses with stag-like heads.[8] Pliny the Elder mentions the oryx and an Indian ox (perhaps a rhinoceros) as one-horned beasts, as well as "a very fierce animal called the monoceros which has the head of the stag, the feet of the elephant, and the tail of the boar, while the rest of the body is like that of the horse; it makes a deep lowing noise, and has a single black horn, which projects from the middle of its forehead, two cubits in length." Well in the King James Bible the English word unicorn occurs nine times and is found in Numbers 23:22; 24:8; Deut. 33:17; Job 39:9,10; Psalms 22:21; 29:6; 92:10; and Isaiah 34:7.

There are also bears who eat 42 children in one sitting in the Bible. :)
