Bee deaths: EU to impose pesticide restriction

Recommended Posts

Thank god, i thought this was going to be about that dreadful song !

This is very worrying, I was thinking along the same lines.:help:

Merging these two threads makes it quite unreadable.

And makes myself and skinz look like mentalists. :hihi:

Oh, and well done to the EU on this reversal.

It's a science thing, Peter. When new evidence shows up, you are allowed to change your mind.

Bit late when the bees are dying, wait while GM comes back to bite, so much for science (big money).

There is no capital P in retep as a school teacher you should know that.

He didn't put a capital P in retep, he put one in Peter. You know, it's a kind of nickname thing - backwards Peter.

Who asked you to stick your oar in,

perhaps a three day ban would do you good for insulting a forum user,

or do you think you are fireproof.

We should run a sweepstake on how many posts Peter can make in a conversation without resorting to abuse.

Perhaps we should see who starts the abuse johnny.

Given that the science seems to be saying these pesticides kill bees and their use needs to be banned, it seems illogical for the ban not to begin immediatley. It doesn't come into force until December. That's a whole summer of more bees being killed off and fewer crops being pollinated.

Surely it would be cheaper to compensate the farmers who'd already paid for stocks of the stuff if they returned it unused.

It'll be a rubbish sweep stake, with very few options.

Perhaps you could explain what your post has to do with bees and pesticide,

or are you just joining the trolls and keyboard warriors.
