GrayFace Posted April 30, 2013 Share Posted April 30, 2013 hiya forum, looking for people who worked at gateway foodmarkets ltd, fomerly solo on kilner way halifax rd then it became somerfield, mainly gateway staff in the 80s, cant find anyone at all on FB and nothing at all about the shop anywhere, where have they all gone??? johnme Posted April 30, 2013 Share Posted April 30, 2013 i used to drive for A D L we delivered fresh produce to the gateway stores from thorncliffe park ind est. we delivered at night and the one on halifax rd had a metal cage around the back of the store that we used to leave the produce locked in. gateway/somerfield and food giant all belonged to the same group. i can remember they kept selling groups of shops off until they all went Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
